Having great fun ( not ) in trying to install a video card ( https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic97506.html )
In the process of checking device manager to find the chipset info. I was surprised to find my Compaq Deskpro K450 PIII denoted as Pentium II! The bios says Pentium III, and it is a Pentium III.
Thought this rather weird ... any ideas / comments?
