Pioneer MP3 Player -- HELP!!

So I just bought a new car and it came with a Pioneer MP3/WMA cd player. Naturally, the first thing I did was create the most kickass driving cd to ever exist. The CD worked perfectly when I first put it in, and I had been driving around long enough for it to cycle to song 99 (of about 170) before I switched to an audio CD I had just purchased. After listening to that, I tried putting my mp3 cd back in, and it wouldn't read. After about 30 seconds of trying, it would say "ERROR - 23" and give up. I tried letting it cool down and all that, but the CD still won't read. Played the CD in my brothers car and it worked fine.
Why did it work perfectly in my car once and then give up? Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'd appreciate any suggestions you can give.
THANKS!!!!

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

The only ting I can suggest, is you try a cd lense cleaner in your player.

You might be better off joining a car audio forum such as this.
