pixelated lines only when playing Games

pixel distortion when i play games

Hi Yall
Just upgraded my box,got me a gigabyte 81945g M\B runing a p4 3.0 with 2mb l2 cache 2x 512 corsair ddr2 533 ram and finaly a pci xpress nvidia 6600 256m g-card.
Ops like a dream graphics are 100% in xp and othe rs progs Except when i play games like F.e.a.r and wc3
I get these wierd lightly pixelated lines almost like missing pixels but the wierd thing is that the textures look fine.
I have updated all the drivers including directx9.c the m\b drivers,unpluging reinserting ect....
has anyone ever experienced this or am i the only poor sod out there

Can you post a screenshot? Sounds almost like the reason we use FSAA - but I'd like to see a screenie to make sure.

:grinthumb Hey Thanx for the reply on my thread.
I spent till 3 am this morinig trying to figure it out.
I am busy reinstalling the os and loading core drivers to try and troubleshoot it from another angle.I have a funny feeling its the samsung syncmaster software?Am going to try using only plug n play mon first.
If its still there after i try this, will post you a screenie.
