Play a live webstream through VLC?

  1. Hi there, I wanted to know if it was possible to play a live web stream through VLC instead of watching it on the web browser. Reason why is because I go to Univision (spanish tv network) to watch the World Cup games live in HD but they're flash player is small and doesn't let me go full screen. Any info would be great, thanks.

Can you use Windows Media Player instead?

No the site doesn't give me the option to use a different player. I tried copying to clipboard and ctrl+v in vlc but that didn't work either.

Do you have Adobe's Flash and Apple's QuickTime installed?

Yes, I have both of them installed and up to date. This is the link btw

Right now there's nothing playing because there are no games going on currently, but when it goes live tomorrow there will be. I'm using Firefox also if that makes a difference.
