Playback in Windows Media

All of a sudden a few weeks ago my Windows Media player started crossfading the songs on a playlist and even when repeating a single song. How do i return it to normal (W/o the fading between songs)

IF you are using windows media player 10 (latest version), click on view in the menu, click on enhancements, click on cross-fading and auto leveling. this will bring up a box below the visualization. there will be a line of text saying turn crossfading off/on. click on it.
