    I recently installed a new 120Gb hard drive in my HP Pavilion and partitioned three drives. one for makiing movies which is 24 GB. i installed my program to the partitioned hard drive and tried to run it, but i got the message "Please go to Control Panel to install and configure system components" in a windows xp setup pop-up box? what do i look for to run my application?

    Did you INSTALL the program or just copied the lot onto your harddisk.
    Look for a file with a name like setup.exe or install.exe or autorun.exe on the CD or in the directory wher you copied the stuff.
