Please help Vista BSOD, Pacer.sys?

I keep getting a BSOD on startup (Vista 32b). It says Pacer.sys and then it reboots. It ONLY starts in Safe Mode (won't start in Safe Mode w/networking). I've tried booting off the recovery disc for repair but it says it cant repair. I was able to install Malwarebytes and found 200 infections that i removed but still i have the same error. I ran the memory test and its fine al ran the sfc /scan and everything is fine. Ran quick test for hardware and everything checked out. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.
