please help weith error code

i have a brand new pc,just built.but it reboots by itself.i have found the error code to be,

this error is usually associated with hardware comapaitability problems with XP or driver problems. if you have a sound card installed try removing it.

The crash may be caused by faulty ram or device driver error. When Windows crashes with blue screen, it writes a system event 1001 or 1003 and a minidump to the folder \windows\minidump. Check system event 1001 and 1003 and it has the content of the blue screen.

Control Panel -> Adminstrative Tools -> Event Viewer -> System -> Event 1001/1003. Copy the content and paste it back here

Zip 5 to 6 minidumps to a zip file and attach it here. Techspot has an upper limit of 100K per attachment. I will study the dump and find out the culprit.

Hi I got similar problem, also the same 100008e error code,

my pc restarts itself when I open IE.

then I reinstall xp with sp2,

after reinstallation, before I reinsall any driver, I run sp2004.exe, then it restarts.

when it restarts, i check the event view, it is 1003 event, with error code 1000008e, parameter1 .....

here is the minidump.

Would appreciate for any help!!!

I have the same error code but my pc restarts when i play games...
I start to believe that the problem is the memory.Did u run memtest?
