Please help with Laptop problem!! T_T

Hi,
I have a laptop with 128mb RAM and i wanted to upgrade this...so i took it out (the only ram chip there was in the machine at the time). Then i noticed there was a "do not remove" sticker at the back. Well i put it back and now the laptop doesn't even seem to start up. There may be some activity, i'm not sure, but the screen definitely shows nothing and it does not switch on.

PS: The RAM is fully pushed in...could it be static electricity damage??

What brand and model of computer?

It's a Gericom - Master Per4mance Series

(I think its model is 731 - this i'm not overly sure of)
