Please help with problems in scanning

I'm having problems in scannig with
McAfee 9.1, ad-ware SE 1.6, & spybot search & destory1.4
When I scan with these they all shut down my computer . I even tried it in safe mode and it does the same in safe mode. Is there help to this or should I can do here to fix this. Please help dmj

I'm afraid your machine is HEAVILY infected with various things, including MyWebSearch and New.net

Please could you precisely follow the instructions provided by RealBlackStuff here,

and then post a fresh HJT log as a txt attachment in this thread.

This will almost certainly eliminate MyWebSearch and the New.Net hijack at the very least, and should in fact hopefully remove most of your issues

which aren't harmful - the file is missing. You can leave them there and they'll do no harm, but it's "tidier" to fix them - one less thing in the log if you need to use HJT again.

To fix, click Start/Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs and uninstall: New.net Application or New.net Domains
If neither is listed, download and run this: www.new.net/support/uninstall6_38.exe
