Plug a CRT into a DVI-only videocard?

By fragmer

  1. Hello;
    I recently got a new video card - XFX GeForce 7900 GT - and realized that it only has 2 DVI adapters, and no familiar VGA D-Sub connectors. I only have a CRT (no plans to upgrade), and I really want to get these two devices to work together.

    Are there any sort of (preferably cheap) DVI-2-VGA adapters? Or should I return the new video card and look for VGA'ed alternatives?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    EDIT: nevermind, got it working.

    Usually cards with only DVI ports come with adapters you can use, included in the package.

    As you say you got it working, I am assuming you found it? ;)
