Pop up telling me to restart

I just got a small pop up in the notification area telling me restart to scan & fix hard drive. I did such & scan lasted a few moments. Not 5 minutes later ditto. I restarted it again & so far no pop up so I ran a check disk & it's telling me drive was successfully scanned, no errors were found.
Would it be ok to Optimize c:drive? Tia

May have been win detected a corrupt file. Then alerted you to do a scan . Seen this a couple of times. On my neighbors Win 10 laptop.

Not really but if you want to. You could do a Quick defrage.

Last time I did a quick defrag it took 6 plus hours I think. Might do it anyhow
