Popups

  1. I've got the same problem too.
I remember updating about the 'software distribution' of microsoft and then next time I used my internet explorer pops up everywhere!!!
I think this is microsoft's own virus! I shouldn't have installed that thing!
And then why is that there are certain pop ups that microsoft blocked and the url.cpvfeed never block/ed???
If you're using some browsers and your browser won't stop popping a lot of this pages.
Uninstalled and just installed another browser!!!
I seriously don't know what to do with this!!! I've done a lot of things and nothing ever work and it's really driving me nuts!

I wanted to sue this stupid company!!

Hi blahblahblah and welcome to techspot. =)

I've moved your post to its own thread as I believe it deserves some attention on its own.

For your information, the popups are definitely not caused by microsoft, but rather some rogue software/program/adware which masqueraded as a microsoft program leading you to download such malware, thus causing your problems.

Important: Please read this thread HERE before you decide whether to clean or reformat your system.

Should you decide to clean your computer, please go ahead to Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions and follow the steps given. Do follow all the instructions exactly. They will provide logs for analysis of your system so I will know how to instruct you to proceed.

Thereafter, please post fresh HijackThis, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread. Do not copy and paste your logs if not it will be ignored and/or removed.

Also, please let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan

    Regards,
    Your friendly momok =)

This thread is for the use of blahblahblah only. Please don't post your own virus/spyware problems in this thread. Instead, open a new thread in our security and the web forum.
