Possible PSU problems

    If you have the PSU as a spare, there is no harm in using it to see if it corrects your problem.

    The monitor does not draw power from the power supply?
    I think that's not going to fix the problem.

    On that account yes, you are right. I was picturing them referring to the screen possibly going black, not the monitor turning off.
