Building a new system here. Everything is new. Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 mobo, Pent D CPU..
When I power everything on, the fans come on for about 1/2 a second then everything shuts off for another 1/2 second, then everthing comes back up and runs fine.. I get a single short Beep tone (best I can tell from Mobo manual it's an Award Bios, which somewhere on this site it says that means "passed) but still NO VIDEO (never have gotten any video) Monitors are good and I called OZD to make sure their Ram memory is compatible. I have no way of checking video card so I'm off to Circuit city to buy another one to see if it makes a difference. Biggest thing stumping me is: why does it power on and then immediately off and back on again? Does this sound at all familiar to anyone???
