Because of forum answers I have decided I need a new power supply. What info do I need to get from my old power supply and what type of power supply should I be looking for? Also how much faith should I put in Geek Squad to make sure it is the power supply and to install one for me? Or would you even call them? Thanks for your help.

What kind of computer do you have, and what are the trouble symtoms you are having with this computer?

1. Don' t PAY for geek squad - they're there to SELL.
2. Your PSU should be of equal or GREATER wattage than the one you currently have. Read the label on the PSU.
3. PSU's are not hard to install. Insure the computer is unplugged, you are grounded. Mark all wires before removing. You may or may not need a CPU adapter for your CPU power (usually provided with aftermarket PSUs.)
