power to my video card

I bought a new ge-force 6600 video card.I have a ??Does it have to have its own power supply or can it run from the power supply on the computer

Normally if you have a graphics card with a power supply needed you get a small extension lead with it in the box that plugs into the graphics card from one of the normal power supply cables.

ensure your PSU can handle the graphics card. If your PSU is generic and/or less than 450W, you potentially could run into issues. You'll need to power it with a lead from your case PSU.
