Power up problem

Computer is 4 years old. One morning it does not turn on. When the power switch is pushed, the HD light flashes, CPU, chassis & PS fans turn a few revolutions and stop. I replaced the power supply and get the same symptoms.
mobo is P4S5A, CPU is P4. Can anyone help.

The motherboard is probably toast... look for exploded or leaking capacitors around the CPU socket

Finally got new MB installed and all works well. The processor was okay.
