I have a HP Deskjet 3820 printer. The other day it suddenly decided to stop working. Every time I try to print a page it comes up with an "Ink Cartridge can't move" error. I took off the back cover and there is no paper jam that I can tell, I uninstalled and reinstalled the software but it won't even print the "test page." Is there anything I can do short of taking it somewhere to have it professionally worked on or buying a new printer?

    thanx!

Did you try to remove and re-install the Ink cartridge/s ?
If your printer doesn't get constant use the ink may have dried on the nozzles.
Lightly used Printers should be shut off when not in use. When shutoff ink jets Park the nozzles to stop them from drying.
    You may need new cartridges
