Printer Issue Jobs Disappear

I got 2 PCs on my network trying to map PC2 to PC1’s local printer so I went to start run typed in machine name and then mapped to its local printer then went to PC1 and gave PC2 right to print to the local printer now when I send print jobs from PC2 to PC1’s HP1018 printer the jobs show up in printer queue and disappear but does not print any ideas everything looks to be working fine but jobs just disappear.

Please help …

sounds like a driver problem for the remote printer.

from the client that is attempting to access the Shared Printer,
delete the printer,
use the Add Printer wizard,
select Network Printer,

and be prepaired to supply the CD for the Print Driver of the shared printer
