printer no longer recognized remotely by 2nd computer

    Okay. Why would my printer all of a sudden not be responding to our comand from our lap top. This is our secondary computer trying to connect to the printer that is on the primary computer. We get the error message that the printer might not be connected to the network. I did disconnect and then reconnect the dsl modem and the printer while we were gone for the summer. But all of that is reconnected and working well from the main computer. We can go into the internet fine..see shared files fine. Both computers are checked to share. I also deleted and reinstalled thinking that that might help...but no luck. I am sure it is something simple that I am overlooking, but I am at a loss for what to do next. Please help with some ideas!
