assuming it prints well on the system to which it is attached:
1 share the device
2 enable print/file sharing in the firewall
3 ensure you and all networked systems are in the same workgroup
...(XP uses MSHOME now and prior systems used WORKGROUP)
reboot a system if you change the workgroup

you should see all attached systems Entire Network->MS Win Network->Workgroup
including the system that has the printer attached

That didn't work

That didn't work, for me to use file sharing I had to go into firewall and add file sharing IP address as 127.0.0.1 TCP 445 then when I look back it had add file sharing with the name of my computer and TCP 445.

Working now

Ok after I manualy added the port, went back to the Wizard and add and network printer and browse for a printer and it was there.....

Thanks

Jimmy
