Hi, everyone! I have a problem with a Sony Vaio Laptop, it is incredibly slow, it takes about 10 minutes to just start up... and it even takes more to load the applications. I don't know what could be causing it. The only thing is that it has Norton Internet Protection antivirus, now, I know that this antivirus slows computers, but it doesn't slow them that much. So, what do you think this could be?
Remove that Norton crap then visit our Security and the Web forum. Read the sticky threads (the ones that always appear at the top of the list). Then make a new thread there.
another reason besides norton it could be running slow is because of ad-ware as well as spy ware when i deleted mine off my computer it made a huge difference
