Problem with Geforce 7600gs XpertVision

Ive just purchased the 7600gs XpertVision so me being me and all excited I open my case to put the card in I take my old card out put the new one in but there is no output signal from the new card

Would an update of the bios do this?

Does this card need a power supply to it?

I have a


Motherboard Gigabyte GA-7VT600(-L)

The card is AGP 8x and my motherboard support AGP 8x! I am really confused please help!

And how would i go about re-flashing the bios? I never really done it before!

PLEASE NOTE THE FAN ON THE CARD IS SPINNING BUT NO OUTPUT SIGNAL!

Just updated bios and nothing i think i may have a dodgey card i tried it in another system thats Running an Asus board still the same!
