I've just installed MagicDisc and MagicISO on my Vista computer, and created 1 virtual drive. But when I mount an image, windows seems to try to read the disc forever, and I can not access it. If I try to turn of the computer it stops responding, and I have to cut the power. This happens almost every time with .ISO-files, and always with .NRG and other file types. Is this a known problem with MagicDisc? It's suppossed to be compatible with Vista.

On a google search many users report MagicDisc causing problems on their Vista system
Is MagicDisc installed with the current version ?
Can you un-install then re-install MagicDisc

Yes, I have the current version. Re-install did not work, I even reinstalled Vista (for other reasons than MagicDisc, of course), but it didn“t work any better. Do you know about any other similar software (maybe freeware?) that works better with Vista?

No I don't (freeware) MagicDisc seems to be the best (but some users report errors on Vista)
