Problem with my windows xp

When I turn on the computer and get to the login page it says "Would you lke to activate your windows product now? yes no"
And weather I click yes or no it won't let me log in.
What should I do?

And I have no idea what windows product.

Each copy of Windows comes with a key code and it must be entered.
This problem most likely started after running the validation tool and it detected it.
