Problem with new motherboard and CPU

Im new to the boards and am in need of some assistance.

I just replaced my mother board and CPU and when I turn on my computer it beeps. Its almost like it keeps trying to post (same beep repeating itself after a short pause).

Motherboard: K8M890M2-V Socket 939 Micro ATX
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2.0GHz Dual-Core
Memory: PC3200 512mb

I've tried reseating the memory, clearing CMOS and havinging nothing connected to the board but the CPU and memory.

Its not turnning on the monitor (onboard video) so I am not getting any error messages.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

With regards to your problem, the beep code should tell you what's wrong, so hopefully tedster's link will be all you need
