Problem with NFSU 2 installation

  1. :confused: I try to install need for speed underground 2, it went fine until it got up to 53%, it try to install a file called blankMovie.VP6. than it get stuck on this file n dont go any further.
    Could any one help me out.

    is your copy of nfsu legal? if so, try cleaning the cd and keep trying to install and see how far it goes. tell us what happens.

    My copy of nfsu is legal, n i try to install it many times, but it alwaus stop on 53%

    how old is the program?? in the setup.exe (or whatever) properties look and see if there is a compatibility tab. if so then this was not made for xp and u should pick run under win 98/me compatibility. maybe itll help

    also keep cleaning the cd.

    Your computer meets the mimumal specs of that game that is it..

    MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

    * Windows 98, 98 Second Edition, ME, 2000 Professional, XP Professional, or XP Home operating system
    * Intel Pentium III (or equivalent) CPU running at 933MHz or higher
    * 32MB DirectX 9.0c compatible video card (Geforce2 or higher) using a

    Try disabling verticle sync .. Reinstalling the direct x

    This is the only game that has the problem. I have read a thread before on other website that someone posted. He/she got the same problem as i do.
