Problem with Sony-DVD-RW-DWU18A Burner...

Hey...How you all guys doing. Hopes is Great.

So I have tis little problem...
So my computers like 1yr and a half old. And well it stopped working..in a very unsual way..

It reads Dvds..but doesnt read other discs...I try to burn a disc I made...and BAM it doesnt read it..so I said..mm frickin shop selled me a scratched one..so there I go buyin a whole box..and BAM WTH!!! they all scratched..no way..so I insert a game I had there and I go like...this cant be... it doesnt read it too!?...so I insert a dvd and reads it and Im like...wth?!...so any solutions or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Get a new DVD-RW ... I had a sony simular that only lasted 15 months..

before I would replace it, get the latest firmware and fla****... then try again, if it still fails
buy a new unit.. the LED crapped out.. common on Sony Products.
