Problem with SonyCybershot DSC-W55

I recently bought the above mentioned camera and added a 1GB memory stick on it. Initially the camera worked fine. But the recently i cannot review the pics i take because after taking a picture, when i press the revewi button, the screen goes blue and gives a "file error" message.

What do i do about this?...........

The 1GB stick may have gone bad. How are your batteries?

The filesystem may have become corrupt (probably when you were using it with a computer). Try (re)formatting the media using the in-camera menu.

My batteries are good and I have formated both memories using the in-camera format option. I'll wait and see if it still has the same problem.
