Problems after replacing the motherboard...

    Dell Inspiron 8200 Notebook

    I had to replace the motherboard (6G040) after the prongs broke where the power cord is plugged in.

    Once replaced, the power LED lights come on for about five seconds and then shut off. During the time the lights are on, nothing starts (fan, HDD, etc.)

    Any Ideas??

    Have you tried resetting, restarting a few times...

    Usually does the job for me;)
