I can get the CPU to work but it seems to run at half speed. I changed the jumper. Updated the Bios to 1008. changed the Bios to 200Mzh. Need some help please.

hello and welcome to techspot

u have not mentioned what clock speed it is running now please do mention that

Fist of all this is a A7N8X rev 1.04 not a deluxe just a A7N8X rev 1.04. heh just to make that clear. Now I set the jumper to 200Mhz i belive is what it sets to. Its on Pin 2 and 3. In the my computer properties its says that its running at 1.10Ghz half of what is should i belive.

Thanks for the help.

Any revision below the 2.0 isn't meant to run a 200mhz FSB CPU. If you still want to try it out, go look for some modded BIOS files which you can find HERE.

Remember that you're doing these experiments at your own risk.

Try Setting it manually in the bios

Check in your bios and see if there is a setting to bump the fsb to 200 mhz. If it only goes to 166 then your SOL no matter what the jumper says.
