Problems viewing DVD

I recently upgraded my video driver and lost the ability to view DVDs on my desktop. I'm running Windows ME (i know...) with a P4 and radeon 7000 video card. The new driver is the only thing I can isolate as a recent change.. Any help would be appreciated.
