Problems with my hdd

the other day i had an error with my hard drive i tried to access it and after a minute of it trying it gave me an error so i rebooted and it made my windows run very slow and it still wouldnt access and so i formated it (nothing to important on it i wasnt concerned) i can access it and use it now i was reading on here to run speedfan so i did and it said it needed to be replaced but i cant remember the error message so i can tell maxtor because the drive is still under warranty can anyone tell me the error message if you have had the same problem before? or give me and information on my situation?

You are going to have to run PowerMax on it to get the error code you will need to use to create an RMA.

oh yeah i have tried that one but one little problem no floppy drive in my pc :O. do you know any way to run it without a floppy?

You can download the bootable ISO version of Powermax from HERE.

Burn the file to a cd as an image. Your burning software will show you how to burn an image, then boot from the cd.
