    Hi guyz I'm new here, but I have the same problem with my Inno3D GeForce 7600 GS 256 ram. I have this card since November 2006, at first I have absoloutly no problem in playing 3D games. This problem star happening 3-4 months ago, I'm having some kind of artifacts in games and some blue screen around. Since the begginig I'm using 400 W PSU and at my +12 V says 16 A.

    But as I sad at the beggining I haven't problems in playing.

    Thanks anyway

    Re: visual artefacts in 3D with 7600 GS

    I had the same problem with this card, here's how I fixed it (assuming you run Windows XP):

    Go to display settings, advanced, troubleshooting.
    Untick "write combine". Press OK in all dialogs, reboot if necessary.

    This solved the problem in my case (Sis651s based motherboard, 300W PSU).
    Unfortunately, with the new display driver model used in Vista, it is no longer possible to disable write combine in software.

    Note on previous posts: it's amazing how often people tend to blame a weak PSU for all and any problems in a computer. I've found that they are hardly ever the cause for trouble, at least in my 15+ years fiddling around with peoples comp's...

    Cheers

    @Banjo
    I also tried to untick 'write combine' but the problem isn't solved.
    Just for info when I do 'display optimization wizard' in NVIDIA control panel, in the step where I optimize gamma there are messy colours on the red, green and blue field.
    I suppose that the card ram is dying....

    Does the artifacting persist all through or does it appear sometimes and vanish again? It sometimes happens when I play NFS Most Wanted on my 7300GS...

    Yes the artifacting persist all through.....But finnaly I replace my 7600 Gs with new, and it seems that now everything is fine:)

    I am having the same problem, but I have had the card for around 2 years now.
    I'l try unchecking "write combine" as well to see if it works.
