I have two hd, one PATA, Maxtor 30gig running XP. Second Seagate 200gb SATA. The SATA shows up in my device manager and says working properly.It does not show up in My Computer or Disk Mangement. From device manager I right click the SATA and there is not a format option. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? This started once I formatted from disk management. I have followed seagates troubleshooting tips and according to them it should be in disk management if the driver is current, which it is. I also check Atapi.sys and it is the correct version for XP.
