Problems with soundcards and joysticks.

alright i own a new computer (i didn't say good or fast or top of the line i said new) and the mother board has built in sound but know midi port for joysticks. so i get my hands on a soundcard i believe it is a yamaha legacy. my comp auto detects hardware and even has drivers for it already and it installs it. but joy stick won't work (yes i installed the correct manufacterer drivers) and to test it i also try out the speaker jack, it doesn't work either. the auto joystick detect progam (logitech profiler) that came with the joystick (logitech wingman extreme digital) can't detect the joy either. so i got to device manager and here are the relative devices installed

there is an error on the "yamaha legacy ds1 wdm driver" (This device cannot start. (Code 10)) and i am thinking that this could be the problem but i don't know.

can you help me?

it is a yamaha legacy. my comp auto detects hardware and even has drivers for it already and it installs it.

You could try down loading a different driver.Just a thought.
