Process1 Initialization Failed After SP2 Install Failed

    Help!

    I just downloaded the unvenerable SP2 update and started to install it on my wife's system when the PC locked up. I had to restart the system in order to get out of the "lockup". Upon doing so, I received a blue screen which says "Process 1 Initialization Failed" and some other garbage about changing BIOS settings and or starting in Safe Mode.
    Needless to say nothing works! Arrg!

    Please help before the Mrs. hangs me out for hurricane Jeanne to carry me off to some desolate island without MY PC.
