Process1 intializing failure

i am running windows 7. My problem is that my computer will boot up the windows logo comes on and then the BSOD appears and says process1 intializing failure. The problem is i have no window 7 disk since it was preloaded on my toshiba laptop and i also have no recovery disk. Is there any steps that i can take to fix this. Please help.

This could be caused by a bad or corrupt hard drive. Try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 several times at the start of booting. When you see the black screen options, select "repair startup". This will take some time. Tell us what happened
