Program remains in add/remove prog list

I unistalled the program the correct way but for some reason it is still showing up in the add remove program list.

I searched the registry and I cannot find the program

I ran CCleaner and it did not help me either.

I use to know the registry path where to remove the name of the program but forgot.

I cannot re-install and unistall because the CD is lost

Run Ccleaner and click on tools. Find the entry you want to get rid of in the list and highlight it. Click the Delete Entry button and close ccleaner. reboot your system. The entry should now be gone from add remove programmes.
