Program wont get deleted from 'Add or Remove program'. (need help)

    OK, so I'm useing Windows XP and I have uninstalled (I think) a program that I had on my PC but its still in my control panel, when I go to 'add or remove programs' its still there.

    when I click 'Change /Remove' I get a an error bar saying:

    Application Removal
    Could not open logfile 'C:\Program Files\file name\ST6UNST.LOG'

    this **** is bugging me is there a way to get rid of it?

    The program may have it's own uninstall routine.
    As a last resort you can delete the folder in c:\program files and also remove any references in msconfig.
    I would not recommnend mucking about in the registry unless you know what you are doing in there!
