Ignoring how ridiculously abusive the law is on itself (seeing as very few people are actually paying attention to that matter anyway), how does the system work exactly? like, does it have a smart image identification system to accurately guess when a site has pornographic content on it, embedded into the system so it takes more than your average teenage tinkerer to annihilate; or is it simply a little bloatware application that blocks known pornographic websites from a blacklist?

So it is the republicans fault, except it is the democrats fault, but tomorrow it'll the republicans fault anyway. The ones at fault here is the Americans, and I'm saying Americans, not unitedstatians. Politics in this continent is driven by people overwhelmingly unprepared; they study their career in law as their first option and they may, sometimes, get a master's degree in something extremely undemanding like economy, then they get with some friend, neighbor or family member their job at a public office and climb up the ranks -usually by stepping on other people- ; in the end, we have this bunch of ignorant snobs making laws about guns, despite never having been to the range, healthcare, despite never having read the warnings and instructions on a medicine box, about food when they only eat the finest meals from expensive restaurants, about migration when they have only been out of the country for vacation or to meet with their international peers in the absolute luxury of money and immunity, and about computers, despite having trouble turning their own cellphones on.

You do understand that's the way the Constitution is written right? The powers that are not explicitly defined and granted to the Federal Government are left to the states. The way it should be. Don't like something? Vote them out. Federal Government overreach is why we have so many of the problems we have now.

But, internet porn crosses state lines. Ergo, all the The First Amendment rights it enjoys now, attach in South Carolina. So, you'd have to sneak this legislation in past the ACLU, or some other watchdog group.

Besides, unless it's going to be blocked at your ISP or built into the router, couldn't you simply reformat your HDD? (Or SSD, as the case may be.

What this does make a good case for, is building your own PC. That works its way around bloat and crapware, built into the "restore discs". A pre-built PC isn't really supposed to give you a Windows disc, so what you get is an "image". Unless M$ is going to start printing a "Windows 10, South Carolina Edition", you should be good to go..

Just look up RIAA (Recording Industry Of America) yes they fined all sorts of people and yet have they won? There wish to stop downloading music? You might win. But not before you spend 1000 X the money you will make from your tax. Since it will take years for it to make it through all the courts. According to Forbes 2.6-3.9 billion made a year. Good luck with that fight!
