    I have a PS2 and have not been able to play online while my girl is online doing her research. We have Verizon DSL and the router is connected to the DSL modem. Is there something I can do to allow me to play PS2 online while she is online? Any help would be appreciated!!

    perhaps you need to have a DHCP server? I'm not familiar with motorola routers or if they include this feature, but it makes sense that if only 1 device can be on at a time, then you're using IP passthru instead of NAT.

    when I configured the PS2 for online play I did use the IP of the computer that is online at the same time. Maybe I can purchase a second IP through my ISP. Thanks for the help.

    yes the extra IP can work, but costs $$$.

    when she's not playing the game, access the router configuration
    (typical url is something like 192.168.x.y and you'll need to play with
    x=0,1,2
    y=0,1,2)

    verify DHCP is enable for IP & DNS addresses

    save/apply the settings

    update your network settings on the NIC to also use IP & DNS addresses

    Both systems should be able to run at the same time :-0
