PSU working but fan not?

My computer is having problems, when i start it up it goes down in about 1 minute. Then i realise that it my fan doesnt rotate but somehow the PSU still works?

Which fan are you referring to?? Pc's usually have more than one fan!!!

I can only assume that you are referring to your power supply unit (psu) fan??
If that's the case you will either need to get inside the psu and replace the fan or you will need to replace the whole psu!!!

yes i meant the PSU fan, is it great danger to continue using the computer as it is now? not changing the PSU?

Sometimes PSU fans only start up when it needs to, like mine It's great

If the psu is overheating and your system is shutting down then that ISNT supposed to happen. If this is the case, you run the risk of killing the entire pc and risk a fire!!!!!

What make and model of psu do you have, we can find out if its meant to be spinning all the time or not!!!
