A series of unconfirmed photos from 9to5Mac are said to show the first images of the iPhone 6s. Should these images prove to be legitimate, then it appears the phone has barely any exterior differences with the iPhone 6, and several rumored changes might be disproved as well. Among them, a dual-lens camera system and that the antenna lines on the back of the phone would be hidden.

According to 9to5Mac, which cites a proven source familiar with Apple’s supply chain, the iPhone 6s will be the same exact dimensions as the iPhone 6. This wouldn't be completely unexpected, as Apple stuck to the same form factor with the iPhone 5 and 5s, and before that the iPhone 4 and 4s.

It's unclear from this leak whether the larger, 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus would arrive with any significant changes to its thickness or width.

As mentioned above, one of the most exciting rumors surrounding the upcoming iPhone regarded the possibility of it shipping with a dual-lens camera. However the rear shell in these photos show the holes for camera, microphone, and LED flash to be identical to those of the iPhone 6; it appears Apple may be waiting until the iPhone 7 before implementing this new feature -- if at all.

The headphone jack, microphone, Lightning port and mono speaker holes also remain unchanged from the current iPhone. This would mean any accessories designed for the iPhone 6 will be compatible with this new iteration.

All the significant improvements to the iPhone 6s are likely to be internal. A Force Touch display is strongly rumored to make an appearance, while possible new componets include an Apple A9 processor and M9 motion co-processor, as well as 2GB of RAM, a first for an iPhone.
