Quadro NVS 285 or Gforce 7100?

  1. Hi everyone, I have some spare parts laying around so I decided to build a quick gaming PC to hold me off before I get my Mac Pro in January. It'll be a real simple machine: AMD X2 3600+, 1-1.5gb DDR2, 200gb SATA, and a DVD-ROM.

The only thing I can't decide on yet is if I want to use my Quadro nvs285 128mb card or Gforce 7100 128mb (fanless, scales up to 512mb with use of system memory).

It'll be used mostly for internet, word processing, and light graphics work (I do the heavy stuff on my powerbook), but I also would like to play some games on it (eg. Starcraft 2, things like that). I haven't decided on the OS yet, although It may be **shiver** Vista Ultimate 64.

Anyone have any suggestions on which graphics card would be best?

GForce 7100 would be my choice.
