ZL scan turned up something labeled "not-a-virus:RiskTool.Win32.Reboot.f"
in my temp file (...Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\$12DF6E36.t$m)..
this designation can be used for some tools, I know (Smitfraud, etc.), but the file name and location have me concerned...

    Thanks

    O.k.....?

"... if you want you can route it in your c:> drive or a:> dirve"

well...good thing: I must somehow have come across as much more savvy than I am...
bad thing...I have no idea what you're talking about...
Should I "route it in my c:> or a:> drive"?
    HOW do I ""
lastly, but most importantly...what IS "IT"?--a tool? I've downloaded an assortment (no worries, only those recommended through reputable help sites) and I don't know how many should actually show up as 'not-a-virus-tools'.
And, if it's not too much trouble, could you explain what you mean by "route it in your c:> or a:> drive." Sounds vaguely obscene.
    But seriously...
    Thanks for the help

ANYTHING in the temp folder is expendible
    cd Administrator\Local Settings\Temp
    del *.*
