Radeon 9200 issues

  1. i recently installed a ne mothrboard after the old one fried, it is the same make and model and everything. But ever since i have had issues with my 9200 3d card every time i play a 3d game it will work for a while then a VPU error message would appear saying that the 3dd card has stopped responding. What is happening? how do i fx it? help

    Did you make sure the BIOS was setup the same? Maybe it isn't seated in there 100% correctly. Try taking it out and putting it back in just to be sure.

    I have tried that and installed the latest drivers, the bios is right. the cards probobly bung

    Sounds like a bad card to me.

    The last time I saw this error on a Radeon was because of a bad capacitor on the video card. I resoldered it and it worked like a charm afterwards.

    Of course, I'm sure there are other possibilities too. But when you see this kind of error, it is probably hardware related.
