Hello,
I've got a problem with my ati radeon 9800 pro, regular (mostly within games) the screen becomes one mess of colors and polygons. After a reboot it's all over. I don't think it's a heat problem, got a nice zalman active cooler and besides the problem occurs randomly spontaniously, also when just on my xp desktop doing nothing.
As I said there is no obvious pattern, sometimes it does not occur for several days...
The ATI drivers are up to date. Just did a clean format/ xp pro install but problem still exists.
Currently i am searching for an bios update, still cannot find it though. It's a Medion pc DOOOOh! But I hope someone recognises this problem and maybe has a sollution already
