RAID0 with two different sized drives...and JumpDrive Filesystem...

Okay, I set up a RAID0 array with two different sized Hard Drives..and 160GB(master) and an 80GB (Slave)...and it works fairly well...however my total capacity is only about 160GB...what happened to the other 80GB?

I'm assuming the array is using all of the 80GB drive and only half of the 160GB drive...is there a way to get the remaining 80GB and partition it for use as storage or something?

Also, my Lexar 512MB JumpDrive is formatted with the FAT filesystem...should I change that to FAT 32 or NTFS?

You wouldn't have that problem is you used two exact drives. You've set it up with two different drives so the controller has defaulted to the smallest of the two (not to mention the slowest).

RAID should be used on identical drives.
